Information about weddings at Boston Guildhall

Wedding venue

Your day is truly unique to you and if you are looking for something extra special, Boston Guildhall may be the perfect venue for your wedding ceremony.  As a licenced venue this beautiful medieval building, with Grade I listed status, offers an unique historic venue for your ceremony.

Our medieval Beadsman's Lane leads you and your guests into the building and towards a majestic staircase leading you upstairs to the wonderful Banqueting Hall, with it's vaulted ceiling and stained glass window.  Whether you wish to add decoration or enjoy the historic panelled walls and bay windows, this bright and airy space can be yours to create your own bespoke package.

We can accommodate both small and larger wedding parties of up to 80 to 100 guests depending on arrangements and welcome enquiries and viewings and the opportunity to discuss your day further with you.

With Fydell House gardens linked to our venue through a 'secret garden door', the outdoor space might be another option you wish to explore.

Boston Guildhall is a truly historic building with a wealth of history and stories and is also the town museum; with objects from the collections on display making this venue a really unique setting.

We are available for weekday and weekend weddings or civil ceremonies.  Your photographs can be taken throughout the building to capture the romance of the building and your memories of your day.

If you would like to visit us for an informal chat and to view Boston Guildhall in consideration as a venue for your special day please do contact us.

Registrar

When considering a wedding ceremony one of the first things you decide upon is a venue. Once your venue is selected you will also need to provisionally book the Registration Officers. In Lincolnshire the Registrars can be booked up to two years in advance and are able to guide you through the formalities.
