Volunteering

South & East Lincolnshire Trusted Volunteer Scheme

We recognise the important role that volunteers play within our community and we have made it a commitment to support volunteers to access opportunities within the Borough.

As part of our Trusted Volunteer Scheme, we are developing our volunteer programme and hope to offer many more volunteering opportunities in the coming months. If you would like to help increase the feeling of 'pride' within our local communities for the places people live, work and visit, please keep checking the Lincolnshire Community & Voluntary Service webpage for new opportunities.

We look forward to partnering with you as a Trusted Volunteer.  For further information please email Alison Carlisle.

There are so many ways you can make a big difference in your community from small acts of kindness, to giving up your free time to help support a local community project, we can all help make things better for people around us.

Any individual or group can volunteer.  It can be very rewarding and is a great way to meet new people, gain new or use existing skills and experience.

You could become a community litter champion, assisting at your local warm space hubs, become a Councillor, helping in your local area or making a regular commitment to volunteer with a charity or community group.

Young people can also volunteer either at school or in their own time.  If you are aged 16 or 17 you can take part in the National Citizen Service (NCS).

For additional information around volunteering and how you can get involved visit Lincolnshire Community & Voluntary Service

Please see below case studies from some of our community leaders who have made a difference in their community.

If you have a story to share please email the Community Leadership Team.

Volunteering ethos - start where you are, use what you have, do what you can.
