This scheme is for the residents of Boston Borough only.
No commercial waste or vans (marked & unmarked) will be accepted.

Skips will be available from 8am until 3pm but may end earlier if all skips fill up.

Skips will be sited in St Georges Road Car Park, this location has been decided by the council based on safety and accessibility provisions.

Do's and Don'ts

Skips will be located as follows:

  • Monday 19 August 2024
  • Monday 26 August 2024 (BANK HOLIDAY)
  • Monday 2 September 2024

This will be repeated again in November, on 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th November.

Residents can get rid of up to 3 large unwanted household items, to use this service we will require our residents to call beforehand on 01205 314200 and let us know what items they will be bringing and on what day.

The skips are for community use only - trade waste will not be accepted. Asbestos, car tyres, oil drums, paint cans and clinical waste are also not accepted.

For more information on disposing of waste, go to www.boston.gov.uk/waste

Some household items can be repaired or donated, instead of being thrown out. Search 'recycling and reducing waste' at www.boston.gov.uk
