Why You Got Involved?

I love the area where I live.  I have a young family and I saw an opportunity to try to make sure the area was the best it could be for them.

What Impact/Difference is it Making to the Community?

As a Parish Councillor you are there to serve the community where you live.  Providing you are pro-active, you can make a real difference to the area and the people who live in the community.

How Would You Encourage Other to Get Involved in Their Community?

Don't let what you see and read about Councillors or Politicians put you off, If you want to understand what goes on and help the community where you live, why not come to the meetings, see how they work and learn a bit about what is involved.  You really could make a difference to where you live!  You can get in contact with the Parish Clerk and get involved.
