COUNCIL TAX BILLING

Please check your bill for your instalment dates and amounts. The first instalment for the new year will be due on 1st April (unless you pay by Direct Debit on 4th, 12th, 20th or 28th of the month). We anticipate our phone lines will be busy over the next few weeks. Phone lines will be extended Monday to Thursday until 7pm between March 17 and 27. Phone lines are open until 4.45pm on March 21 and 28.

The blue recycling bin is for the disposal of all 'recyclable' household waste apart from paper and card.  This is taken to a recycling plant in Lincolnshire for processing.

Items that go into your blue recycling bin

All items must be empty, clean and dry with no food residue and placed loosely in the bin

  • Glass bottles (lids taken off and placed in loose)
  • Glass jars (lids taken off and placed in loose)
  • Metal cans
  • Metal tins
  • Clean foil
  • Aerosol cans 
  • Plastic bottles (lids taken off and placed in loose)
  • Cleaning bottle products
  • Toiletry bottles
  • Plastic pots (no black or brown)
  • Plastic tubs (no black or brown)
  • Plastic trays (no black or brown)
  • Cartons/tetra paks

 

NO THANKS

  • Paper and card
  • Crisp packets or plastic bags
  • Batteries or electrical items
  • Polystyrene
  • Clothes/textiles
  • Food pouches
  • Black or brown plastic food trays
  • Hard plastics e.g. old toys

Residents on bagged collections in lieu of bins are subject to the same conditions and restrictions as those listed above.
