Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority Mayoral Election

An election will be held on Thursday 1 May 2025 for the first Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire. This election is being run by North East Lincolnshire Council.

Lincolnshire County Council Elections

Lincolnshire County Council has 70 councillors elected from the County to make county-wide decisions on matters such as education and social services. You can view details of our current County Councillors on the Lincolnshire County Council website.

Elections will be held on Thursday 1 May 2025 to elect a County Councillor for each of Boston Borough's six divisions.

Candidates and Agents Briefing

We will hold a briefing session for those interested in standing as a candidate at this election or those acting as an election agent. These will take place in person at Municipal Buildings, West Street, Boston PE21 8QR:

  • Wednesday 5th March 2025 at 6pm

Submission of Nomination Papers

Completed nomination papers need to be submitted by hand between 10am and 4pm on any working day from Wednesday 19th March to Wednesday 2nd April 2025.

A booking system is operated for the submission of nomination papers and this will open on Monday 10th March. To book an appointment please contact the Elections team via email Elreg.elreg@boston.gov.uk or by calling 01205 314220.
