Disposal of flood damaged furniture, carpets, white goods and waste from your household

All residents stripping their properties of damaged goods are advised to take photographs and videos of the damaged items before removal for insurance purposes.

If insured, please contact your insurance company who will make arrangements to dispose of flood damaged materials/goods or advise you on steps you need to take before disposal of damaged items such a taking photographs for evidence purposes.

If you are a tenant, you should contact your landlord or housing provider to arrange disposal of flood damaged materials/goods or advise on what their procedures are.

If you are not insured and you do not have the ability to make your own arrangements to dispose of flood damaged items you can use the skips that are located in the area.

Refuse collections: Refuse collections due on Thursday will proceed. Due to possible contamination, all bins presented (whatever the colour) will be collected to help tackle potential environmental issues.
