Budget Consultation 2025/26
Residents in Boston Borough are being asked to help shape the budget for 2025/26.
Boston Borough Council continues to face financial uncertainty, especially in terms of Central Government funding, pressures from Internal Drainage Board Levies and amounts it collect from Business Rates that can be retained for local services. The Council therefore needs to continue to maximise potential income streams and manage its costs to fund services to local people.
Each year by law, the Council must set a balanced budget. The draft budget for 2025/2026 is scheduled to be published for consideration by Cabinet and Council in February 2025.
