Boston Borough Council contracts local company Hydroshine for Deep Clean Initiative
Posted on 5 March 2024
Boston Borough Council has teamed up with the reputable cleaning company, Hydroshine to embark on an extensive deep clean initiative aimed at enhancing the cleanliness and beauty of our public spaces.
As part of this collaborative effort, Hydroshine have this past week undertaken a comprehensive cleaning programme of all footpaths around Boston Market Place, raised traffic areas, the Ingram Memorial and the area of the iconic Five Lamps.
The decision to engage Hydroshine for this important project comes from the Council's dedication to meeting the strategic objectives outlined in the Town Centre Strategy and Action Plan for 2023-27. Specifically, the initiative aligns with the goal of "Experiencing a clean and tidy public realm," as set out in the strategic framework.
Councillor Dale Broughton, Portfolio Holder for Town Centre, said: "I am really pleased we had the opportunity to partner with local company Hydroshine for this deep clean initiative, which stresses our commitment to maintaining a clean and inviting environment for all. By working together, we can ensure that our public spaces remain vibrant and welcoming for everyone to enjoy."
Residents and visitors alike can now experience a refreshed and revitalised town centre as a result of this joint effort between the council and Hydroshine.
