Boston Town Centre's Festive Window Competition

Boston Town Centre is gearing up for a holiday season like no other, as it enters into year two of a heart-warming partnership with The Festive Lighting Company to illuminate Boston Town Centre with breath-taking Christmas lights.

Last year saw this collaboration transform Boston's town centre into a winter wonderland. Twinkling lights illuminated the town centre, creating a captivating and magical ambience that residents and visitors alike cherished.

Again this year, 2024, local businesses are invited to participate in a spirited Christmas window competition. Retailers are encouraged to turn their shop fronts into festive canvases, each telling a unique holiday story. This friendly competition not only adds a festive touch to the town but also fosters community togetherness in a creative and delightful way.

Our annual contest, which puts the spotlight on businesses with the best Christmas/Winter-theme window displays and shopfronts is open until midnight on Sunday 1st December. There are separate categories for small, medium and large businesses/shops.

Once all entries have been received an independent judging panel will create a short list of businesses, the final winners will be chosen by the Mayor of Boston week commencing 9th December 2024.

All entries must be submitted to BostonChristmas@boston.gov.uk subject headed 'Christmas Windows 2024' by midnight on Sunday 1st December.
