Bloomin' beautiful floral displays coming this summer to help bring Boston Town Centre to life

Additional floral displays could be placed in Boston's town centre over the summer months as Boston looks to improve the appearance of the Market Place for visitors and residents, subject to permission from Lincolnshire County Council.
Boston Town Area Committee have agreed to fund tiered planters to provide an immediate floral impact, building on the Council's existing annual bedding programme, making the town centre more attractive for residents and visitors to the area.
Cllr Dale Broughton, Deputy Leader and Town Centre portfolio holder for Boston Borough Council, said: "The intention is to help support a vibrant town centre economy by further demonstrating what a wonderful space the market place/town centre is.
"We recognise the dedication, time and effort that the Boston in Bloom Partnership do all year round and I hope that these tiered planters will be a great addition to the work the volunteers already do to make our town a vibrant and attractive place to live and visit."
Cllr Barrie Pierpoint, Chairman of BTAC, said: "What a fantastic proposal brought to BTAC I am pleased this was fully supported by the committee and I look forward to seeing this bright and vibrant floral decor coming to our Market Place very soon."
