BTAC Small Grant Scheme
The BTAC Small Grant Scheme is for Community Groups and Organisations wanting to contribute directly to their town centre community.
How the scheme operates
The scheme is operated using BTAC's Community Grants Policy with a scoring matrix based on the requirements of the Committee that it be consistent with BTAC's terms of reference; easy to understand; flexible and inclusive; and include a 'pre-assessment' process for officers with only those applications scoring above a defined threshold to be considered by a Working Group of Members to make recommendations back to the Committee.
Who can apply
Are you a fully-constituted Boston-based community group/organisation, charity, or CIC/Social Enterprise (with at least two unrelated directors), working to deliver projects for the benefit of residents within any of the town centre wards of Boston? Then you may qualify for a BTAC Small Grant.
You can apply for up to £1,000 contribution towards a large project or to fund a project in its entirety, whether it is for venue hire, to purchase small items of equipment, to cover insurance costs or to produce publicity materials.
