General Privacy Notice

In most cases Boston Borough Council is the data controller. We determine how your personal information will be processed and have to comply with data protection law. We are registered with the Information Commissioner as a data controller.  In some cases we are data controllers in common with other organisations  such as Lincolnshire County Council. Our Electoral Services has a different data controller - the Returning Officer.

As part of the strategic alliance between Boston Borough and East Lindsey District Councils your information may be processed by teams from either Council in order to provide the most effective service to you.
