By road

If approaching from Nottingham / Grantham A52 or Newark A17 \ A1121

1. As you enter Boston passing the Citroen, Peugeot and BMW garages on your left carry straight on. This is Sleaford Road.
2. Go past the Shell garage further along on the right, and a little further on move into the left hand lane ready to turn left at the traffic lights (opposite children's playing field). This takes you into Brothertoft Road.
3. Carry on to a mini roundabout on a sharp right hand bend and bear right, into Argyle Street.
4. Continue to traffic lights at cross roads and go straight on. This is Fydell Street.
5. Continue to next lights (ASDA turning) and go straight on up to a bridge, which takes you across the River. Bear right as you leave the bridge and go downhill to the traffic lights.
6. Go through the lights and bear sharp left into Norfolk Street.
7. Continue straight on to next set of traffic lights and turn left into Robin Hood's Walk.
8. Carry on past the Fire Station, and then go straight on, where the road becomes Marian Road. (Robin Hood's Walk turns away to the left, do not follow it)
9. Marian Road is indicated as a No-through-road, and you will find the Crematorium and Cemetery where the road finishes.

If approaching from Kings Lynn A17 or Peterborough/Spalding A16

1. As you approach Boston you will see the 'Spirit of Endeavour' pub on your right, and you need to keep in the left hand lane, and go straight on at the roundabout. (the pub is between 2 roundabouts, go straight on at both)
2. Follow the signs for Grimsby A16 and remain in the left hand lane. This will bring you up to a roundabout which you will naturally approach in the middle lane. You will effectively be turning right at this roundabout onto a stretch of dual carriageway. Keep in the left hand lane as you leave the roundabout.
3. You will go over a 5 lane bridge and then straight on through the town on the inner relief road, known as John Adams Way - a stretch of dual carriageway. Keep in the left-hand lane.
4. At the end of this dual carriageway there is a large roundabout. Cease following Grimsby signs, and take the first exit (left) from the roundabout. As you leave the roundabout get into the right-hand lane, and approach the traffic lights by Iceland frozen food store.
5. Turn right at these lights into Tawney Street, and proceed straight ahead to another set of traffic lights.
6. Go straight on into Robin Hood's Walk.
7. Carry on past the Fire Station, and then go straight on, where the road becomes Marian Road. (Robin Hood's Walk turns away to the left, do not follow it)
8. Marian Road is indicated as a No-through-road, and you will find the Crematorium and Cemetery where the road finishes.

If approaching from Grimsby A16 or Skegness A52

1. You will enter Boston along Spilsby Road. Continue straight on until you come to a busy junction with traffic lights, at the approach to a bridge over a drain. Position yourself to go straight on over this bridge. (Bargate Bridge).
2. Get into the right-hand lane on the bridge and you will come up to a large roundabout.
3. Go straight on at the roundabout (2^nd exit). As you leave the roundabout get into the right-hand lane, and approach the traffic lights by Iceland frozen food store.
4. Turn right at these lights into Tawney Street, and proceed straight ahead to another set of traffic lights.
5. Go straight on into Robin Hood's Walk.
6. Carry on past the Fire Station, and then go straight on, where the road becomes Marian Road. (Robin Hood's Walk turns away to the left, do not follow it) - Marian Road is indicated as a No-through-road, and you will find the Crematorium and Cemetery where the road finishes.

If approaching from Horncastle B1135

1. You will come into Boston along Horncastle Road with a drain running parallel on your left.
2. You will see the cemetery on your right, but you cannot enter at this gate with a vehicle. Instead, carry on to traffic lights next to a fish and chip shop.
3. Turn right at these lights into Norfolk Street.
4. Carry straight on to another set of lights and turn right here into Robin Hood's walk.
5. Carry on past the Fire Station, and then go straight on, where the road becomes Marian Road. (Robin Hood's Walk turns away to the left, do not follow it)
6. Marian Road is indicated as a No-through-road, and you will find the Crematorium and Cemetery where the road finishes.

By Rail

Boston railway station is not within easy walking distance of the crematorium, but taxis can usually be found directly outside when trains arrive. A taxi journey to the crematorium should take no more than 10 minutes. Taxis are also available by the Bus station nearby, or in the Market Place.

There is a bus service operating within the town on circular routes, each stop being visited half hourly. These are single decker light blue buses numbered IT1 to IT6. The nearest 2 stops to the crematorium are both in Robin Hood's Walk.

If arriving by train, exit the station using the platform adjacent to the ASDA store and filling station, go to the roundabout and walk to the right where 2 bus stops are located. You need to take an IT3 or an IT4 to get to Robin Hood's Walk. When getting off, ask the driver which direction to walk for the crematorium/ cemetery. Both stops are about 500 yards away.
