Carers Support

Looking after yourself as a carer is really important not only for the person you look after, but for your health and well-being too.

Carers FIRST is a charity supporting adult and young adult carers across Lincolnshire. A carer is anyone who provides unpaid care to someone who due to ill health, physical or mental illness, disability, frailty or addiction, cannot manage without their support. Carers can be of any age and may be looking after a friend, relative or neighbour.

Our trained staff work in the community supporting carers, ensuring we respond to their needs locally. We provide emotional and practical support, advice, information and guidance. We offer statutory carers assessments and opportunities for carers to access training, social groups, activities, trips and more.
