LICENSING ACT 2003

APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application for a Premises Licence under the above-mentioned legislation has been made by Albert Yin Tak Cheung to Boston Borough Council in respect of premises known as Hong Kong Restaurant which are situated at 126-130 West Street, Boston, PE21 8QZ

The application applied for is to permit the following licensable activities during the given times

Sale by retail of alcohol for consumption on the premises

Monday - Saturday: 11am until midnight
Sunday: Noon until 11.30pm

Late night refreshment

Monday - Saturday: 11pm until midnight
Sunday: 11pm until 11.30pm

The register of applications may be inspected at the offices of Licensing and Land Charges Section, Municipal Buildings, West Street, Boston, Lincolnshire, PE21 8QR, during normal office hours.

Any representations by responsible authorities or other persons regarding the application must be made in writing to the Licensing Authority, Boston Borough Council at the above address by Monday 01st January 2018.

It is an offence, liable on summary conviction to a fine up to Level 5 (£5000) on the standard scale, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with the application.

APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application for a the variation of a Premises Licence under the above-mentioned legislation has been made by Candida Borges to Boston Borough Council in respect of premises known as Los Burritos which are situated at 3 Church Street, Boston, PE21 6NW

The variation applied for is

Extension of the hours for the sale by retail of alcohol for consumption on the premises and recorded music to include Monday.

Monday - Sunday: 11am until midnight

The register of applications may be inspected at the offices of Licensing and Land Charges Section, Municipal Buildings, West Street, Boston, Lincolnshire, PE21 8QR, during normal office hours.

Any representations by responsible authorities or other persons regarding the application must be made in writing to the Licensing Authority, Boston Borough Council at the above address by  Wednesday 10th January 2018.

The variation applied for is

Extension of the hours for the sale by retail of alcohol for consumption on the premises

Sunday - Thursday:      9am to 11pm
Friday - Saturday:    9am to 2.30am the following day

The register of applications may be inspected at the offices of Licensing and Land Charges Section, Municipal Buildings, West Street, Boston, Lincolnshire, PE21 8QR, during normal office hours.

Any representations by responsible authorities or other persons regarding the application must be made in writing to the Licensing Authority, Boston Borough Council at the above address by     Friday 12th January 2018.

APPLICATION FOR REVIEW OF PREMISES LICENCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Boston Borough Council has, under section 51 of the Licensing Act 2003, received an application for review of the Premises Licence in respect of:

European Food, 43 Wide Bargate, Boston, PE21 6SR

The application is submitted by the following Responsible Authority: Chief Constable of Lincolnshire Police.

The grounds on which the application for review is made are:

The review relates to the prevention of crime and disorder and protection of children from harm licensing objectives following alleged failure to comply with licence conditions relating to a proof of age policy and allegedly allowing the sale of alcohol to a person or persons under the age of 18 years.

The place where the record of the application and grounds for review may be inspected and where the register of the Licensing Authority is kept is the Licensing Section, Boston Borough Council, Municipal Buildings, West Street, Boston, PE21 8QR.

A responsible authority or other person may make a representation in writing to the Licensing Section at the same address between 20 December 2017 and 16 January 2018.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is level 5 on the Standard Scale, currently £5,000
