Bike night and Boston gig

Boston is gearing up for a few fun-filled family days - fingers (and toes) crossed for good weather.

First is the annual Boston Bike Night. On Thursday hundreds of motorbikes and trikes and combinations (perhaps a few scooters) will pour into the town centre.

The largest motorcycle event in south Lincolnshire, it is organised by Boston Motorcycle Riders Association and will last from 6pm to 10pm, and it's FREE.

The main focus will be Bargate Green car park with bikes spilling over into the Market Place and Pescod Square, which will be filled with everything from daily runabouts to expensive exotica. There will also be trade stands displaying everything connected with motorcycles and motorcycling, food and live music.

Then on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 3, 4 and 5, the Big Boston Gig music festival takes place at Boston Cricket Club ground, next to the Peter Paine Performance Centre.

As well as live music on two stages there will be  stalls, food and a fairground making it a great time out for all the family.

It begins with a launch party on the Friday evening for ticket holders and press, a full day of live music, arts, entertainment, activities and more on the Saturday and an afternoon of community events, DJ competition, secret headliner and a chance to win £250 on the Sunday. One ticket gets you access to all 3 days.
