Help for 'Pegasus People' to stay safe
Boston Borough Council is supporting an initiative to help people who find it difficult to engage with the police to get helpful advice to stay safe.
Pegasus is a system to aid better and easier communications with the police through special contact arrangements and with the aid of "easy read" guides.
It has been devised by the Lincolnshire Learning Disability Partnership Board, Lincolnshire Police and Lincolnshire's Police and Crime Commissioner.
he mini booklets they have produced provide details on how to contact relevant agencies and groups, how to keep you and your home and property safe and how to stay safe when out and about and when visitors come to your home.
If you know anyone who may benefit from the Pegasus scheme please help them access it and the information it provides.
The first is called "Making it easier to contact us" and tells how to obtain an emergency contact Pegasus card, personalised for you so that officers can quickly access your information, see below.
If you would like more advice on any of the guides or require any advice on any of the guides or their subject matter please feel free to contact either Peter Hunn (Community Safety Manager) on 01205 314245 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or Donna Brewer (ASB Officer) on 01205 314318 or e-mail email@example.com
