Environment Enforcement Strategy 2014-18
The Council's aim is to improve Boston's local environmental quality and attractiveness by reducing environmental crime across the borough.
The 2014-2018 environmental crime enforcement strategy has now been amended to reflect the changing dog control legislation and our partnership with 3GS Enforcement Agency.
1. A Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) relating to dog controls has been implemented in the Borough of Boston under the 2014 Anti Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act. We no longer enforce dog fouling under The Dog Fouling of Land Act 1996.
2. As a result of the new legislation and our partnership with 3GS, we no longer offer an early repayment discount on Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs).
