Arts project announces 11 strands for future

The Boston and South Holland Transported arts project team has highlighted 11 strands of future activity following consultation events held in the area.

It has released phase two of its programme, confirming  11 distinct strands: Haulage, festivals, Open Book (a partnership project with libraries), On Your Doorstep, Past Inspired (partnership projects with heritage venues and organisations), public arts commissions, Live and Local (delivering live performances to local people), pop-up spaces, consultation (phase II), DIY (programme of sustained workshop activity) and community events.

For more details on what these strands entail and the plans as they currently stand, go to Transported to download a full copy of the document.

The three-year project for Boston and South Holland won a £2.5 million grant from the Arts Council to take art of all forms out to the community and into often isolated rural areas where access can be limited. The programme has the active support of Boston Borough Council and South Holland District Council, along with numerous other Lincolnshire-based organisations and private sector partners.
