Request a Pedestrian Crossing on Fishtoft Road - Sign
WE THE UNDERSIGNED are concerned members of the community who hereby petition to request for pedestrian crossing protection on Fishtoft Road/Skirbeck Road near to the junctions of Church Road, Rectory Road and Skirbeck Gardens.
Fishtoft Road and Skirbeck Road are 30mph zones yet traffic often exceeds 40mph, with some local residents suggesting that 50mph has been seen, along with over taking maneuvers. People are expected to cross this road to gain access to St Nicholas Primary School, Boston Nursery, Sure Start, St Nicholas Church, St Nicholas Community Centre, Hawthorn Tree Primary and Nursery along with other local amenities. The nearest pedestrian crossing to these roads/junctions is outside Boston College and the Co-op. This means that to cross the road safely you have to walk 10 to 15 minutes in the opposite direction which is totally unacceptable. As the winter months close in it is only going to get more dangerous crossing these section of roads and is an accident waiting to happen.

Sutterton Village Future Development Action Group - Sign
This Petition is to stop further development in the village of Sutterton without improvement to the existing infrastructure.
Sutterton has been indentified as one of the most sustainable areas after Kirton in Boston and South Holland however having only one shop, one public house and a Doctors surgery and primary school nearing capacity, residents would be reliant on accesing neighbouring villages. Sutterton is in a rural location and Public transport links are insufficent to serve daily needs.
This petition is to enable residents to object to planning applications as submitted for proposed developments.
Currently application B/14/0176 has been submitted for consideration for outline planning.
The location of this application is designated as countryside and is not land that is currently identified as land that is available for development. Furthermore development of this land could raise considerable flood risk to our homes in the village.
This petition will also add comment to determine the land which is to be highlighted for future planning approval in our catchment area to take effect from 2015 / 2016.
