As part of our street cleansing service we have a daily road sweeping schedule.
The town centre is cleaned every morning from Monday to Friday to ensure the roads are weed and debris-free to allow the drains to function properly and to look clean and tidy.
We have litter pickers collecting all scattered rubbish and a member of staff emptying all litter bins in the Borough.
The market place in Boston is cleaned daily, including a Saturday during and after the market has closed.
Villages in the Borough including; Kirton, Sutterton, Wyberton, Fosdyke, Old Leake, Leverton, Wrangle, Benington, Wigtoft, Swineshead, Frampton, Bicker, Fishtoft and Freiston are all on a road sweeping schedule to be cleaned quarterly.
We are responsible for keeping the highway free from spillages, including oil. Where spillages are of a hazardous nature the police and fire service may also be involved in the incident and road closures may be required.
