Finding private rented accommodation

Leaflets giving guidance on finding private rented accommodation are available on this page.

This includes advice for anyone considering becoming a lodger by renting a room in someone's home, to help you decide whether this is the best option for you and what you need to consider.

There is also advice for anyone considering whether to rent out a spare room in their home, providing information on how to go about it.

Useful links for people thinking about accessing private rented accommodation, or for tenants currently renting in the private sector, are also available on this page.

Each week, the Housing team prepares a list of properties available for rent in the private sector in the borough.  This is available from reception at the council offices in West Street or can be emailed to you. If you wish to receive it by email, please send  your email address to us at housing.dept@boston.gov.uk
