Boston Borough Housing Strategy
The Boston Borough Housing Strategy 2012 -17 has now been published.
The four main priorities identified for housing within the borough are:
- Providing more homes
- Improving existing homes
- Living safely in your home
- Facilitating access to homes
The Strategy has been developed based on extensive knowledge of the local housing market gained through research, ongoing monitoring and detailed analysis of information, whilst taking into account government guidance and the law.
The Action Plan states how the identified housing issues and needs of residents will be addressed, having taken into account local ambition, availability of resources and the views of residents and partner organisations.
Details of how the strategy was developed and the formal process it has followed can be found in the Housing Strategy document in Related documents below.
Appendix 2 details the consultations responses and the elected member workshop recommendations.
