The Community Safety Team
We want to make sure that the Borough of Boston is a safe place for you to live and work in.
The Community Safety Team is shared across Boston Borough Council and East Lindsey District Council. The team is headed up by a Manager and consists of 2 Anti Social Behaviour Officers, A Police ASB Officer, A Community Safety Apprentice/ASB Officer, A Community Safety Partnership Officer, A Community Safety Officer, A Community Safety Support Officer, An Emergency Planning & Business Continuity Officer, A Local Communities Development Officer, A Neighbourhood Projects Officer, A CCTV manager and a number of CCTV Operators.
The Community Safety Team works hard to prevent vandalism, anti-social behaviour and other crime and disorder issues within the area. The following are examples of the work we do:
- Investigating reports of Anti-Social Behaviour and working with partners to tackle it.
- Supporting national and local campaigns such as Hate Crime Awareness Week, Community Alcohol Partnership, Street Drinking.
- Work in partnership to address countywide issues such as domestic abuse, substance misuse and serious / organised crime.
- Deliver training sessions in schools (e.g. Prevent, hate crime, online safety, child exploitation).
For advice and information on measures that can be taken by individuals to deter these crimes, please contact the Community Safety Team using the details below.
If you would like to report any incidents of anti-social behaviour, vandalism or other minor crime or disorder issue please complete the online anti-social behaviour form or telephone 01205 314200.
However, this is NOT a link to the Police and all serious incidents should be reported straight to Lincolnshire Police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.
We have tried to include as much information on Community Safety as possible on this website, however, if you cannot find what you are looking for, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01205 314318.
