Local Planning Application Validation Checklists

Following a 6-week consultation between 22nd October and 30th November 2018 on new planning application validation checklists, the Planning Committee agreed, on the 15th January 2019, the adoption of local lists for Planning and Other Applications and a simpler version for Householder developments.  The checklists take account of the responses to the consultation and will be used to validate applications received after the 15th January 2019. 

The checklists identify what is required at a local level, in addition to the national requirements as set out by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to make a complete application.  The information will therefore be requested at the outset, rather than being requested during the statutory time for determination.  A copy of the checklists are available on the Council's website - http://www.boston.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=3878.
