Christmas celebrations in Boston 2018
Thursday night's Christmas celebrations in Boston have been voted the best yet. Thousands crammed into the Market Place for Boston's big start to Christmas.
Star of the show was Boston boxer, and world title contender, Callum Johnson, who switched the town's Christmas lights on in spectacular fashion
His left hook smashed into a punchbag on the main stage... and the brilliant lights installed by the Christmas in Boston team instantly sparkled into life.
The day began with the opening of the Christmas Market by Boston Mayor Cllr Judith Skinner - whose help was then sought by Channel 5 TV to publicise the search for the winner of the £76 million Lottery ticket.
Live entertainment continued on the main stage and in Strait and Wide Bargate, only pausing in the evening for the Illuminate Parade and the big lights switch on.
