Top marks so you can buy with confidence

The latest businesses to achieve the highest marks for food hygiene include the award-winning Pinchin's Farm Shop in Church Lane, Algarkirk.

It was among a number of food premises inspected in August by Boston Borough Council's environmental health officers.

The premises are rated in line with the Food Standard Agency's Food Hygiene Rating Scheme which gives confidence to consumers and helps them choose where to eat out or shop for food.

Also achieving a five rating for food hygiene are: The King's Head, Church Road, Freiston; Massama Zone, West Street; Beira Alta Deli, West Street; Woodlands Court, Boston Road, Kirton; Manor Gate, Causeway, Wyberton; Pizza Milano, Market Place; Sutterton Fish and Chip Shop; International Food, West Street; Fine Foods Supermarket and Cafe Bar, Wainfleet Road, Fishtoft, and Lincolnshire Co-op, High Street, Swineshead;
