Magic in the park... finding the fairies' homes

There was lots of magic in Central Park yesterday as children went on search to find the hidden fairies' homes.

With their clue sheets in hand young children and their accompanying adults walked around the park solving the clues and finding the fairy homes. As they reached the end of the trail they were greeted by the special fairy helpers who awarded them with a certificate, a sweet treat and a special bottle of fairy dust to take home.

Kristina Willoughby, events manager at Boston Borough Council, said: "All the children had a fantastic day and the event was so well supported. It was great to see all age ranges get involved and enjoy this Summer event in Central Park"

One Fairy Door Hunter said "It really has being a great summer of events."

Another special Christmas-themed Fairy Door Hunt is planned to take place in Boston Guildhall on Saturday, December 8 from 11am to 3pm. Keep your eyes on our social media channels for when the booking opens for this event. Children can dress up for the occasion.
