A trip of a lifetime

Vietnamese students aged 12 to 16 years are enjoying a cultural exchange summer school experience with Boston College this month.

The students visited Boston Borough Council to meet the Mayor in her parlour for tea and biscuits and were given a close-up viewing of the borough's famous gold and silver regalia, normally hidden from view behind special security systems in the Council Chamber.

As well as meeting the Mayor they had a visit and tour of the CCTV rooms led by Ian Dunn and Gilly Gilbert.

After leaving the council buildings they finished their day off with a tour and presentation at Boston Police Station.
