Geoff Moulder Jump Start special offer

When the battery's flat and there's just not enough oomph to get the engine running you need a jump start.

And that's just what's on offer at Boston's Geoff Moulder Leisure Complex. Jump Start 2018 is part of the Get Out, Get Active campaign aimed at helping you get fitter and lose weight with new motivation.

The new Jump Start programme is being offered at an introductory price of just £35 when purchased with any adult gym membership. You will also save the £25 joining fee.

You get an eight-week programme, expert advice from a friendly instructor, three one-to-one instructor sessions, ongoing help and support and a personal fitness portfolio log including a programme tailor-made for you.

To get a Jump Start join one of the adult gym membership packages (full details at www.bostonleisurecentre.co.uk). This offer is available to the end of February.

If the gym's not for you, how about the pool. FloatFit offers toning exercises with a guaranteed soft landing that's full of fun and laughs.

The low-impact, cross-training class gives a fun full-body workout on an exercise mat floating on water. Get too hot and it's only too easy to cool off; lose your balance and it's a soft, but wet, landing and guaranteed to raise a laugh.

FloatFit classes last 30 minutes and open to both gym members (£3), non members (£5.90) and £6.30 if they want to use the health area afterwards - sauna, steam room, spa pool and relaxation area.

Booking is essential and sessions are held on Tuesdays  from 7.15pm to 7.55pm, and Fridays from 7.15pm to 7.55pm.

One FloatFitter said: "I went with a group of girls from work. We were all a bit wobbly on the floating exercise mats to begin with and it was such a giggle as, one by one, we went into the water. I would say we had nearly as much exercise getting back onto the mats as we did doing the exercises. There is a serious side as the instructor put us through our paces. It was certainly exercise with a difference."

FloatFit is sponsored by Boston Big Local.
