Meet the Cabinet

The historic Guildhall banqueting room was the venue for a meeting of Boston Borough Council's Cabinet today (Wednesday, November 29).

The usual meeting room at Municipal Buildings was not available, so the executive councillors decamped to the Guildhall, which dates back to the 1390s and was used for Boston Corporation meetings from 1555 to the 1770s.

Pictured round the meeting table are, foreground, anticlockwise from right, Cllr Paul Skinner, portfolio holder for the town centre, Cllr Aaron Spencer, deputy leader and finance, Cllr Michael Brookes, deputy leader and waste services, Cllr Michael Cooper, leader, Phil Drury, chief executive, Rob Barlow, strategic director, Lorraine Bush, democratic services manager, Cllr Claire Rylott, grounds and open spaces and Cllr Martin Griggs, housing, property and community. Also in attendance, right hand side, are officers to inform the meeting on specific subjects.
