FREE MONEY for businesses!

Local businesses who have faced an increase in the 2017 revaluation, could be entitled to claim help to cut the cost of their business rates.

Boston Borough Council, in common with councils up and down the land, has Government cash to give away and has written to those eligible to claim, but take-up so far has been low.

The extra help announced in the Spring Budget has been made available to businesses facing rate increases following the recent national rates revaluation

The council's business rates section has contacted qualifying businesses and will issue reminder letters in due course.  Any queries can be emailed to the Business Rates Section at businessrates@boston.gov.uk or your can telephone 01205 314413.  .  More information can be found at https://www.gov.uk/government/news/spring-budget-2017-21-things-you-need-to-know

A council spokesman said: "Come on business owners, this is free money that you may be entitled to. It's not a scam."
