Picnic in the Stump... and more for free

The Stump will be the venue for you to bring along a picnic in the Stump and enjoy free family crafts with Sam's House on Wednesday, August 9, from 10am to 3pm.

Transported, the Boston and South Holland arts organisation, will bring along multi-talented artist Jeni Cairns, who recently designed and made the art deco-inspired arched garden in Central Park. Jeni will be doing some beautiful flower-related crafts.

Sam's House will be back in the Market Place on Thursday, August 10, alongside the craft market and Neil Baker, from Electric Egg, when you can take part in a "sketchcrawl" organised by Transported. No previous drawing or sketching experience  is required and all materials will be provided. The events will be staged from 10am to 3pm.

Transported now has a loyalty card, and points are earned every time you visit a Transported event!. For more details, pick up a pack at the events or visit www.transportedart.com.
