Easter fun for all the family starts TODAY
Boston's big Easter chick hunt starts today (Friday, April 7) with chances to win a fantastic collection of luxury goodies.
Displayed in town centre shops are the names of the Easter chicks for you to find. A list of clues to help you locate them can be found at the Boston Town Team Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/BostonTownTeam/
You can pick up an application form at any of the participating shops and completed entries can be returned to any of these shops. You have until April 14 to enter.
The winner will receive a fragrance hamper, two toiletry gift sets, a floral display, a selection of books, a chocolate lamb, a unique bracelet, a mystery golden ticket and more.
Also today Boston Borough Council kicks off its popular Family Fun Friday events with a community day in the Market Place in association with the Canal and River Trust the following Community Groups are attending Boston Sea Cadets, Boston Ramblers. Witham Sailing Club, Boston Rowing Club, Boston ion Bloom, Boston & District Angling, Boston Woods Trust, Boston Canoeing, RSPB, Boston Model Boat Club, Boston Motor Cycle Club, Princess Royal Arena, Sustrans, Lincolnshire Sport (Active), Boston More in Common and the newly-formed Boston Christmas Lights committee.
There will be opportunities to learn more about these excellent community groups and how you can get involved.
Artist James Sutton will be in attendance so you can participate in a "Get Creative Workshop" for the Stump to Sluice project.
The Easter fun continues on Wednesday, April 12, with free family crafts at Boston Market. From 10am to 3pm there will be crafty fun for children of all ages. It's all happening at Sam's House.
Boston More in Common are also inviting everyone to join them and have fun on Saturday, April 15, on Boston Market, 10am to 3pm where you can decorate an Easter Egg.
