Anne said: "With the £5,000 kindly donated by the Tesco bags scheme we are now well on our way to achieving our aim and hope to start work on the pathway on the Lime Avenue site as soon as weather permits.

We are so lucky to have been assisted by so many friends."

The plan is to develop a restful memorial space in Boston's Westgate Woods accessible by all, for relatives, friends and colleagues to come and remember those who have died in tragic circumstances on county roads.

Anne, of Boston, lost her daughter in a horrendous crash in which four people died and five children were left without their mothers. Her other daughter was seriously injured.
