Shop around for a better energy deal with Lincolnshire Energy Switch scheme
As energy prices continue to rise why not shop around for a better deal and switch providers through Lincolnshire Energy Switch?
Residents can register online for possible lower gas and electricity bills at Lincolnshire Energy Switch Scheme despite gas and electricity rates currently rising.
Last year the average saving for households that switched suppliers through the Lincolnshire Energy Switch was a huge £250 each.
Simply have your annual gas or electric statement or bills covering the last 12 months to hand when you register.
If you're not able to online, you can do so offline at the council or by calling 0800 048 8439.
Once the registration period is complete on Valentine's Day, energy suppliers will compete with their best offers at an auction. You'll then be sent an email or offer letter stating the potential savings you could make.
But make sure you register by the deadline on Monday, February 13 to take advantage of the potential savings.
There's no obligation for householders or businesses to accept their personal offer. Simply check if the offer the energy provider gives you beats your current deal.
If it does, switching from your existing energy provider is very straightforward with the new provider taking care of the entire process.
Lead officer for the councils Karen Lond said: "Energy prices are rising so we're all seeking ways to save money to pay for the extra pounds on our bills.
"Switching with Lincolnshire Energy Switch could not only potentially pay for the rises but save you hundreds of pounds on future bills. So why not switch today?"
The scheme is organised by Boston Borough Council, City of Lincoln Council, East Lindsey District Council, Lincolnshire County Council, South Kesteven District Council, North Kesteven District Council and West Lindsey District Council and is administered by the UK's leading collective switching expert, iChoosr Ltd.
