Events for 2017

More information and other events will be added over the forth coming weeks... but here are some dates for your diaries in 2017...

Fri 7th April - Community Day

Boston Market Place 10am - 3pm

Following the success of last years event with the Boston Community Groups, led by the Canal and River Trust all coming together we intend to run a similar event.

Groups attending include Boston Rowing Club, Boston Canoeing, Boston and District Angling Club, Witham Sailing, Boston Woods Trust, R.S.P.B., Boston Ramblers, Environment Agency and Boston & District Motorcycles. 

In conjunction with Transported's Get Creative Workshop, artist James Dutton will be working up artwork for the Stump to Sluice project.

Come along, 10am - 3pm in Boston Market Place, and learn about the local community groups in Boston and take part in some free art!

Wed 9th August - Picnic in the Park with Craft Activities

Central Park, Boston

Boston Library will be hosting some story telling sittings, come along and lose time in the books.  There will also be an area allowing children and families to read, as well as an opportunity to take books home.  A small selection of family crafts will also be available.  All you need to bring is the picnic!

Feel welcome to bring a picnic along to the Park and join in with the free story telling and craft activities which will be taking place.

Friday 18th August - Provisional Family Fun Sports Day

Wed 22nd August - Picnic in the Park with Story Telling

Central Park, Boston 11am - 2pm

Bring your picnic along to the Park and join in the story telling which will be taking place in the park for free.

Thursday 26th October - Halloween Family Fun

With previous events including everything from drop in circus sessions to willow weaving workshops, there is bound to be something for everybody again this year.
